TOM MARTIN's unhealthy
relationship with words was made public at the tender
age of 8 when he was featured in the newspaper for having
obsessively read and reported on over 100 books. When asked
for a
quote he said, "Reading is my life."
His passion for story directly connects to all aspects of
his life today
as a writer, producer, actor, director, and musician. He
started
acting on stage at 11. He began writing "The Great
American
Novel" at 15 (he's still recovering from that heart-breaking
failure.)
Educated at U.C. Berkeley (BA in English Literature,) Tom
now
resides in Hollywood and works in commercial production.
He's written and produced several film projects (HOMECOMING,
DAYS LIKE THESE, THE LAST STAND, INFINITY)
optioned a TV
movie (LOUISIANA SON) and performs
regularly in town with his
band AROUND THE CORNER. |
